I guess I just think the best of people

you know when you talk to someone or become friends with someone or even if you don't know them that well but you wonder about their views (politically) and such. Well, this happens to me all the time and the person seems remotely cool or even just not mentally handicapped and have been told by there parents what is right (cause even mentally handicapped people can know whats up if there parents allow it) then i assume they are a democrat. I guess this shows that I'm an optimist and I really prefer to think the best of people. But at some odd point it seems that the truth comes out, I see who they really are and I feel very let down almost as if I have seen their evil streak or spotted the many dead and mutilated bodies they have been hiding in their garage.
