That stupid little look on her face

So as all of my readers surely know I have a friend named Clara who lives in France and was planning to visit Minnesota (but mostly me) this summer. Well her trip has been cut short. She was supposed to bed hop her way around while she was here but her parents wanted to talk to the hosting parents first and since they tried to call us on sunday afternoons and we were at church for a crappy ass portion of the day clara's parents never got to speak to mine. Her trip has been cut in half and she is staying only at the houses of the people that her parents have talked to so that means not me. I was very upset about this (but i kept it together and didn't cry) ans when we were eating a weird 3 o'clock kind of a meal (since we had been at church for so fucking long) i didn't want to seam like a bitch in front of our guest Maria (John's sister) but when my mom said i shouldn't be on the phone if i have as much homework as i claim i decided to bust out that it's there fault clara can't stay with us and they should have talked to her parents before. to which my mom responded "where is she staying now?" (as it were a fixable problem) and i said "she isn't, her trip has been cut short" and i walked away just after seeing that stupid little look on her face that means i have won the battle.

well my mom still thinks she can win this. she comes in my room with the poster board i asked for and asked if there was anyway she could email clara's parents and
i said: "no, you can't they wanted to call and tried to for weeks"
she said: "well you didn't tell me about this until two weeks ago, and you never told me when she was coming"
i said: "no i told you about this before, and you said it wasn't important to know the days as long as they weren't during the festival"
she said: some bull shit about me needing to get my work done, and i shouldn't be pissy at her (for something she failed to do) and it wasn't her fault we weren't home and now I can't see christian this week blah blah blah.

well I've got news for her I will see him this week and she can suck my dick, 0nce i get my license she won't see much of me and now i have more of a need to go to college far away.
